In January 2024 we finished a Tetonia home with Pristine 30% ceramic film. The owners wanted less glare, less heat and UV protection for their furniture and hardwood floors, and one more thing: the glass had to look the same from outside. In our words at the time, “we did just that.”
Why the North End Calls Lane
A Tetonia home, January 2024. Glare, heat and UV coming through big windows, and owners who didn’t want the house to look tinted from the yard. Lane put Pristine 30% ceramic film on the glass: less glare, UV protection for the furniture and hardwood floors, some of the heat blocked, and glass that looks the same from outside.
Lane does it himself. He has 10 years of tinting behind him and is on every Elevated job, with two helpers on the big ones. Call or text, and he usually gets back to you within the hour.
Covered when we leave. Every tint job comes with a satisfaction guarantee, a workmanship guarantee and a lifetime film warranty. Ask Lane at the consultation exactly what that covers on your home’s film.
Proof you can check. We’ve tinted more than 5,000 windows. 5.0 stars from 61 Google reviews, BBB Accredited with an A+ rating, and fully insured.
What We Tint in Tetonia
The house with the view, the truck in the driveway and the machine in the shed. Here’s what each one fixes.
Tetonia Home Window Tinting
Windows facing the Tetons take the morning sun, and in winter the snow on the fields bounces more of it in. Film cuts the glare, heat and UV, and ceramic film can do it without changing how the glass looks from outside.
- What it fixes
- Glare, heat, and fading floors and furniture
- More on home window tinting
Tetonia Shop and Office Window Tinting
A shop office that bakes in the afternoon, glare on the screens and a front window the road can see into. Office film handles all three, and security film makes the glass harder to break through. We’ve tinted more than 2,000 commercial windows.
- What it fixes
- Heat, screen glare, privacy and break-ins
- More on commercial window tinting
Tetonia Truck and Car Window Tint
In Idaho, the front side windows have to let at least 35% of light through (Idaho Code 49-944). Lane matches the fronts to your factory tint and keeps them legal, in your driveway or at the shop in Driggs.
- What it fixes
- Hot cabs, snow glare, and fronts that don't match the back

Truck and Car Tint in Tetonia
Idaho’s rule for the front side windows and the back window is at least 35% of light through; the back side windows need at least 20% (Idaho Code 49-944). Lane walks you through ceramic and carbon film before you pick.

Home Window Film in Tetonia
The Tetonia home we finished in January 2024 had a list of four: less glare, less heat, UV protection for the floors and furniture, and glass that looked the same from outside. Bring your own list to the free consultation, and Lane matches a film to it.
Not sure what the house needs? Lane comes out from Driggs for a free consultation and tells you.
Shop and Office Film in Tetonia
For a Tetonia shop or office: screen glare, hot afternoons, privacy for the people inside and glass that holds together. We’ve tinted more than 2,000 commercial windows, plus loaders and other construction equipment.
Running equipment? Lane tints loaders and other machines where they’re parked. Two Cat loaders with AC that couldn’t keep up with all that glass got tinted right at the customer’s door, so nobody had to trailer them.

Why Tint in Open Country
Tetonia sits at 6,067 feet and started out as a farm town, named after the Teton Range. The World Health Organization says UV gets about 10% stronger with every 1,000 meters of altitude, and that snow can reflect as much as 80% of it. With open fields around a house, the glass takes the sun from the sky and off the snow.
Privacy
You see out and people outside can't see in, during the day. After dark with the lights on it flips, so bathrooms get frost film.
Less Heat
Ceramic film stops part of the sun's heat at the glass. On the Tetonia home it did that without changing the look from outside.
UV Blocking
Slows the fading on hardwood floors, furniture and dashboards. Autobahn's ceramic car films block more than 99% of UV.
Less Glare
Glare was first on the Tetonia home's list. Film takes the edge off low winter sun and snow glare, indoors and behind the wheel.
Looks the Same From the Road
The Tetonia owners' condition was that the glass look the same from outside. Ceramic film met it.
Safety and Security
Holds broken glass in place after an accident or a break-in, on the house or the truck.

Tetonia Window Tint, Answered
The short, honest answers.
Cost, Distance and Idaho Law
It depends on how many windows, how big they are and which film. We don't publish a price list, and the estimate is free. Customers keep calling the prices fair: "Very great window tinting place at a great price!" (Ryan N., Google review).
Yes. Tetonia is 10.7 miles north of the shop on ID-33, about 17 minutes. Lane comes to the house for a free consultation and does the install there, and trucks and equipment get tinted where they're parked.
On the front side windows and the back window, the film has to let at least 35% of light through, give or take 3%. The back side windows can go down to 20%. On the windshield, tint stays above the AS-1 line, or in the top 6 inches if the glass has no line (Idaho Code 49-944).
Home Window Film in Tetonia
It doesn't have to. That was the condition on the Tetonia home we did in January 2024, and Pristine 30% ceramic film met it: less glare and heat, UV protection, and glass that looks the same from the yard.
Regular tint doesn't. With the lights on inside, people can see in after dark. Frost film gives privacy day and night and still lets the daylight through.
Film slows the fading. UV protection for the furniture and hardwood floors was on the Tetonia owners' list, and ceramic film covered it. At the consultation, Lane tells you how much UV the film you pick blocks.
Warranty, Equipment and Nearby Towns
Every tint job comes with a satisfaction guarantee, a workmanship guarantee and a lifetime film warranty. Ask Lane for the details on your home's film at the estimate.
